The stiff plug is such a little thing compared to other devices of this sort but it's such a game changer! No more cables or looking for a place to set it, it's just always on the dash. The auto-off feature is great, though sometimes on short trips I have to manually turn it off before I get out as it will stay paired while I shop. The audio quality is fantastic and I've never had it drop my bluetooth.
Only complaint is it i will loudly read the number for incoming phone calls, even if it's a contact in my phone-book. This is pretty annoying and not terribly helpful unless you know all the numbers by memory anyway. I don't get enough calls to dock a star on an otherwise brilliantly simple device.
This thing is constantly in use while I am in the car if not for music, you tube, or phone calls. So far after 2 weeks of 30 minute commute to and from work and driving on the weekends, the battery is still 70% full so you can probably expect to have to charge the battery every month or so if your usage is similar. That's pretty darn good.
To conclude I would definitely recommend this product. I work in IT and deal with gadget like this all of the time and I can confidently say this product will not disappoint.
I was planning on replacing the radio (older milwaukee m18) with a bluetooth speaker but now I dont have too. The reciever lasted longer than my phone did.
Perfect!!!!
Oh as far as these comments on her voice when it says max volume and power on etc it’s not as annoying as they make it seem (at least to me). The only thing annoying is it disrupts the music for like 3 seconds . Big whoop.
Over all it’s an OKAY product.
The best part is that it connects to my phone VERY quickly whenever I turn it on. My last adapter connected for calls very quickly but took a long time to connect for audio (e.g. streaming music). Instead of beeps when it connects and disconnects, you get spoken words from someone with a thick accent, which I found kind of adorable. Can they get a Scott or a Swede next time? That would be even more adorable.
Addendum -- One downside. If I leave the charger plugged in, sometimes my phone will connect to this device from the house even though the car is turned off.
